>How-To-Repeat:
install gdm from pkgsrc
add gdm=YES to /etc/rc.conf and copy script to /etc/rc.d/
run /etc/rc.d/gdm start
>Fix:
change the line

0=/usr/X11R6/bin/X

at the end of /usr/X11R6/etc/gdm/gdm.conf, to

0=/usr/X11R6/bin/X vt5
