NetBSD MyBSD.net 1.5.1 NetBSD 1.5.1 (MYKERNEL) #0:Fri Dec 13 20:52:27 PST 2002 dick@MyBSD.net:/usr/sys/arch/i386/compile/MYKERNEL i386
>Description:
Gaim 0.59.6 looks for plugins in directory /usr/lib/gaim; the program reports "cannot open file /usr/lib/gaim/pluginname.so";the directory is not created by the package and must be created by hand. The actual plugin files are in directory /usr/X11R6/lib/gaim.
>How-To-Repeat:
Install and run gaim 0.59.6; the problem occurs at startup and causes the program to terminate.
>Fix:
Created the /usr/lib/gaim directory by hand; created symlinks in the /usr/lib/gaim directory pointing to the plugins in /usr/X11R6/lib/gaim.
