System: NetBSD acheron.in.hades 1.6_STABLE NetBSD 1.6_STABLE (kernel-src-i386-ACHERON) #0: Tue Dec 24 19:36:23 EST 2002 mason@acheron.in.hades:/usr/obj/buildspace-mason/kernel-src-i386-ACHERON i386

>Description:

mail(1) dumps core periodically. I have so far only observed this while
running it from cron(8). Given that it is used for a critical tasks in
production environments, having it dump core is wholly unacceptable and
fairly disgusting.

>How-To-Repeat:

Haven't been able to make it happen consistently thus far. I need to build
it with debugging enabled so the core dump is somewhat more useful.

>Fix:

Install another OS? I don't know yet.
