>Description:
The pppd in my freshly installed 1.6 sometimes gives me a negative
byte count after HUP. It seems to be a signed/unsigned mismatch:
Jan 1 16:59:22 distel pppd[152]: Sent -1806850408 bytes, received 1205702297 bytes.
Jan 2 06:48:06 distel pppd[152]: Sent -1204765246 bytes, received 1309609016 bytes.
Jan 3 11:44:33 distel pppd[153]: Sent 1018305075 bytes, received 180682079 bytes.
Jan 4 11:45:12 distel pppd[153]: Sent 1022987585 bytes, received 191814596 bytes.
Jan 5 11:46:43 distel pppd[153]: Sent 1935870706 bytes, received 804727619 bytes.
Jan 6 11:47:14 distel pppd[153]: Sent -1099347885 bytes, received 1419358729 bytes.
>How-To-Repeat:
Transfer lots of bytes with pppd, eg. with DSL/pppoe.
