Unfortunately, not too much. The Norwegian court result doesn't
really make any difference e.g. for US, where the government
has made special laws forbidding what DeCSS does :(
It's imporant victory of course; if the result would endure
appeal, we can assume that DeCSS would be effectively
fully legal at least in eurozone.
It would be really great if US government would gather their wits
eventually, and withdraw the totally insane DMCA.
I'm quite interested what would be the outcome of the
US suits. I would be really pleased if DVD-CCA would lose
there, of course.
