>Description:
It appears as if edict.gz and kanjidic.gz (2 of the distfiles
for misc/xjdic) may have been updated on the master site more
recently than the NetBSD pkgsrc distinfo file was last updated.
>How-To-Repeat:
rm ..../distfiles/edict.gz
rm ..../distfiles/kanjidic.gz
cd .../pkgsrc/misc/xjdic
make checksum
>Fix:
make distinfo
That is, if I'm correct, I have no way to tell for
sure whether the files I am fetching are getting
corrupted somehow, and the distinfo is correct, or
whether the files have been updated.
About all I can say is that the distinfo file doesn't appear
to have been altered (aside from being moved from "japanese/xjdic"
to "misc/xjcic") since the package was imported (3 Jan 2002),
and that the 2 files I am fetching claim to have been modified
6 Feb 2002 (kanjidic) and 25 Apr 2002 (edict). And that the
files I am fetching ungzip just fine, and as best I can tell
have no obvious signs of corruption (I don't read or display
Japanese...).
