NetBSD lahksa 1.6 NetBSD 1.6 (LAHKSA) #1: Mon Oct 28 23:39:48 CET 2002 krille@lahksa:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/LAHKSA i386

>Description:
When running 'fc-cache -fv' as suggested by MESSAGE it will print this:

fc-cache: "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts": caching, 0 fonts, 12 dirs
fc-cache: "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi": caching, 397 fonts, 0 dirs
fc-cache: "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi":

After that it does nothing more than eating all CPU time until
killing it.

Also gtk2 apps show a simmilar behaviour (eat all CPU and do nothing).
gtk1 is fine, as it does not depend on fontconfig.

BTW: fc-cache man page isn't installed during make install
>How-To-Repeat:
cd /usr/pkgsrc/fonts/fontconfig
make install
fc-cache

See that it doesn't work.

Run gtk2 apps (e.g. xscreensaver-demo) and see that it doesn't work also.
