>Description:
I was building gmplayer, and it made one of my partitions run out of space:
/extra2: write failed, file system is full
af_volume.o: No space left on device
/var/tmp/ccCDI814.s: Assembler messages:
/var/tmp/ccCDI814.s:665: FATAL: Can't close af_volume.o
: No space left on device
gmake[1]: *** [af_volume.o] Error 1
gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/extra2/obj/pkgsrc/graphics/gmplayer/work.pinky/MPlayer-0.90rc3/libaf'
gmake: *** [libaf/libaf.a] Error 2
*** Error code 2
Natural reaction was to run ls to find more diskspace:
pinky:/extra2> ls
/bin/ls: Exec format error. Binary file not executable.
file /bin/ls
/bin/ls: data
Which is a tad worrying, I restored from my last builds DESTDIR, (note this is the same file) and it started working again.
>How-To-Repeat:
Not sure if this is 100% reproducable.
