>Description:
Recent biosboot.sym seems to be broken. If it is installed, my
machine can't boot NetBSD. (sometimes boot, but easily panic!)
I'm using mbr_bootsel (fdisk -B) boot selecter.
I think this problem was introduced around Jan. 30 - Feb. 7.
(self-build snapshot build on Feb. 7 was broken)
I replaced biosboot.sym by old one, which was built on Jan. 30,
then it is OK.
new (broken) biosboot.sym:
-r--r--r-- 1 root wheel 59541 Feb 20 18:06 biosboot.sym
MD5 (biosboot.sym) = ef31dddfccd70a0356fb63badce808c8
old biosboot.sym:
-r--r--r-- 1 root wheel 58272 Jan 30 14:22 biosboot.sym
MD5 (biosboot.sym) = f2ecf1d4e1ef429d201a938fe8e78161
Another biosboot_foobar.sym are not tested.
>How-To-Repeat:
cd /usr/mdec && ./installboot biosboot.sym /dev/rwd0a
>Fix:
I don't know.
