Laptop specs:
Compaq presario 1685
PCMCIA Argosy EN-210

On netbsd 1.5.2 and 1.6 with the install iso during boot it crashes with the following error (This is the 1.6 output):

and when i type trace it says at the end...
Bad frame pointer: 0xc09ba400

I've also tried to boot it without any cards in the slot, same error.
