Same here.  Sources from Apr 5, 2003, disk is a scsi.  My symptoms
were a hosed superblock on every ffs partition.  The superblocks at 32
(from memory) were ok, so fsck copied those.  The superblocks got
trashed on every reboot of that kernel.  Reverting to a Jan 17th
kernel, and running fsck one last time fixed things.  (In all cases I
was running an Jan 17th userland.)
