I am working on porting some python code that uses gobject module.
It would be good if x11/pygtk provided it.

python2.2/site-packages/gobjectmodule.so

This would depend on glib2 I believe. I haven't looked to close yet.
It also would involve moving to newer pygtk. It looks like ours is
quite old.
