>Description:
Here's my /etc/altq.conf:

interface vlan2 bandwidth 10M cbq

#The root class has all the bandwdith
class cbq vlan2 root_class NULL pbandwidth 100

#The default class
class cbq vlan2 def_class root_class borrow pbandwidth 50 default

#The client class, slows down the client - first, they only get 50% of available bandwidth
class cbq vlan2 client_class root_class pbandwidth 50
#Our first client - 169.229.97.234, only gets 1% of bandwidth to all ports
class cbq vlan2 169-229-97-234_class client_class pbandwidth 1
        #Catch all connections from this client         #dst            #dport  #src            #sport  #proto
        filter vlan2 169-229-97-234_class               0               0       169.229.97.234  0       0
        #Catch all connections TO this client
        filter vlan2 169-229-97-234_class               169.229.97.234  0       0               0       0

If I have created the vlan2 interface (with "ifconfig vlan2 create"), but that's it, altqd crashes with the following message:

If I do "ifconfig vlan2 vlan 2 vlanif fxp1" before running "/etc/rc.d/altqd start", then the kernel does NOT crash.
>How-To-Repeat:
1) Make altqd use a vlan as an interface.
2) Create the vlan, but don't initialize it (ie, just do "ifconfig vlanXX create").
3) Start altqd.
>Fix:
Initialize the vlan interface before using it.
