ld (on twe or iop) doesn't support DIOCKLABEL.
For that matter, a bunch of other drivers don't support it
either (e.g, vnd); only wd and sd do at the moment, but
of all of those that don't support it, ld is most important
"disk" to fix.

Use dkctl(8) or a custom program to set DIOCKLABEL on an ld
disk. notice that the kernel doesn't cache the label.
