Fortunately the one they need to use is the one that 'man installboot'
describes. You should also note that the man page explicitly gives the
synopsis as /usr/mdec/installboot, pages do not normally include the
location of the command (/bin, /sbin, /usr/bin or /usr/sbin) in the synopsis.

Is it written and released, it just doesn't apply to i386 (in 1.6.1).
For 'current' (and 2.0) /usr/sbin/installboot will be useable on i386.
