>Release: NetBSD-1.6.1
>Organization:
Neoscale Systems
>Environment:
Custom built hardware (similar to sandpoint)
>Description:
I have two querries,
- I am running netbsd.1.6.1 kernel on my target (kernel is ported to my target). I got binaries for sandpoint from netbsd.org from sandpoint directory (etc and base) and tried to bring up kernel. I am getting core dump for date and rcorder applications. If I replace date binary with NetBSD-1.5.1 date binary, I donot have this problem. What could be be the possible cause for this bahaviour?
- I have cross compiler installed on 386 machine. From what I understand from document, I can build all binaries from source code. Could you give me the exact syntax for running build.sh script. Here are my variables,
machinetype= sandpoint
compiler path=/usr/pkg/cross/bin/powerpc-netbsd
processor=Motorola 7450
downloaded source path /home/veera/temp
