>Description:
The fontconfig package doesn't work after installation.
Observe executing a gtk2 hello-world style program:
% ./hw
No fonts found; this probably means that the fontconfig
library is not correctly configured. You may need to
edit the fonts.conf configuration file. More information
about fontconfig can be found in the fontconfig(3) manual
page and on http://fontconfig.org
I tried copying fonts.conf and fonts.dtd to various places,
like /etc/fonts, /usr/X11R6/etc/fonts, apart from the place
where pkgsrc installs it (/usr/pkg/etc/fontconfig) but I
can't get it working. I also can't quite see where in the
fonts.conf I should tweak something to make it work. The
paths look ok.
<pkgsrc>/fonts/fontconfig Makefile revision:
# $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.13 2003/07/17 21:37:02 grant Exp $
>How-To-Repeat:
Try to run anything which uses pango/Xft.
