But you only found out in the process of the PR that actually, no root-owned
files remain in the work dir (contrary to your suggestion, which was the
reason for the PR).

Since there are no root-owned files in the work dir, I don't see why
we should change anything, thus "Not a problem".

I suggest you open a PR with the author so that the correct dependencies
will be added in the next release of the software to avoid any possible
future problems.
