>Environment:
System:
Architecture: armeb
Machine: evbarm
>Description:
when attempting to build native tools on an armeb box i noticed that
everything was defaulting to "arm" not "armeb". eventually i tracked
this down to sysctl hw.machine_arch returning "arm" not "armeb".
>How-To-Repeat:
try to build gdb-current on an armeb machine.
>Fix:
make <sys/param.h> for arm ports set MACHINE_ARCH to "armeb" for big
endian platforms. the style used in evbmips/include/param.h may be ok.
