>Description:
I am trying to setup a build environment for pkgsrc on a
MacOSX 10.3.2/Darwin 7.2.0 system. I have installed the bootstrap-pkgsrc
distribution, followed the instructions in README.Darwin/README.MacOSX
and had to make a couple of changes to get things to work.
>How-To-Repeat:
Fetch bootstrap-pkgsrc and start following instructions
>Fix:
1. in ufsdiskimage, change
line 35. newfs -> /sbin/newfs
line 40. disktool -> /usr/sbin/disktool
2. line 3 if the "Terse instructions" in README.Darwin should read
"sudo /usr/sbin/chown ...." instead of "sudo chown ..."
3. in bootstrap, change
line 162. need_mtree=no -> need_mtree=yes
delete line 166 (check_prog mtreeprog mtree)
4. add instructions for initial mk.conf
$ cp mk.conf.example /etc/mk.conf
