As this was biting me, I took a look. First, I noticed that it fails to
correctly detect wchar.h, etc. when using pkgsrc on:
alpha 1.6ZF, i386 1.6ZK (simonb checked this), sparc 1.6ZG, sparc64 1.6ZI
I presume that, on 32-bit machines, mutt's own definitions match the ones
in libc, so that it runs. Second, I noticed that it works perfectly if
configured from outside pkgsrc. After a bit of investigation, I found that
if the gcc script:
<objdir>/mail/mutt/.buildlink/bin/gcc
is used, it will fail to configure correctly. I guess that a setting in
this script is conflicting with the "-I($top_srcdir)" line in configure.
