NetBSD webster 1.6.2_STABLE NetBSD 1.6.2_STABLE (WEBSTER) #1: Wed Apr 28 18:20:03 CEST 2004 krille@webster:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/WEBSTER i386
>Description:
This is the relevant dmesg section on this Pentium 4 Celeron Machine
(2,5 GHz; CPUID: 0f29)
cpu0: Intel Pentium 4 (686-class), 2518.59 MHz
cpu0: D-cache 8 KB 64b/line 4-way
cpu0: features bfebfbff<FPU,VME,DE,PSE,TSC,MSR,PAE,MCE,CX8,APIC,SEP,MTRR>
cpu0: features bfebfbff<PGE,MCA,CMOV,FGPAT,PSE36,CFLUSH,DS,ACPI,MMX>
cpu0: features bfebfbff<FXSR,SSE,SSE2,SS,HTT,TM,B31>
The D-cache size seems to be correct. I couldn't find out if it has I-cache (but I think it should have) and which size it has.
Definitely there's 128KB L2 cache.
While here: Is the "64b/line" ment to be Bits or Bytes? If it is Bytes I suggest to use a capital B.
