>Description:
Enabling "options WSDISPLAY_SCROLLSUPPORT" in my kernel config scrambles
the X display on my Compaq Armada M700 LCD Display. This kernel was build
from sources updated today.
The display has some random lines at the bottom and some top lines are
missing, and the picture is shifted about 70% to the right with the lines
wrapped around.
Disabling the option leads to a correct X display.
I only updated the kernel and not userland or X sources.
>How-To-Repeat:
Build new kernel with options WSDISPLAY_SCROLLSUPPORT, install it and reboot,
start X.
>Fix:
no idea.
