>Description:
It seems to me that sys/dev/vinum/vinumvar.h isn't realy up to date. I
tried to configure vinum on NetBSD-current and got 'Can't open
/dev/vinum/control: Device not configured'. I figured out, that the
major device numbers for vinum have changed and that this problem can
be solved by removing /dev/vinum and call vinum(8) again, but as a matter
of fact, vinum still thinks the correct major number was 108. I also
figured out that in sys/dev/vinum/vinumvar.h VINUM_CDEV_MAJOR is still
defined as 108.
First I thought my src tree was broken, but cvsweb.netbsd.org showed
me it's okay.
I can't imagine that I'm the only one in 10 months who has this
problem... Am I?
>How-To-Repeat:
Call 'vinum makedev' or something similar.
>Fix:
Changing VINUM_CDEV_MAJOR to 162, I think.
