NetBSD drteeth 1.6.2 NetBSD 1.6.2 (GENERIC) #3: Mon Feb 9 18:37:36 CET 2004 he@kveite.urc.uninett.no:/usr/users/he/build-1-6/obj.sparc64/sys/arch/sparc64/compile/GENERIC sparc64
>Description:
Have an NFS export on this host that is shared to a Linux host and an HP-UX 11 host. Attempts to push large amounts of data from one of these guys to the NetBSD host results is a kerenl panic and barfs the following output from the kernel debugger:

psycho0: uncorrectable DMA error AFAR 2f044f8 pa ffffffffffffffff AFSR 6400ff00e0800000:

There is a 160GB harddrive in this machine (an ULTRA 10), and I have a feeling that that may be a large portion of the problem. Even Sloaris will not install correctly on this box with an ATA disk that size in it - the PROM is the latest update. Unlike Debian (Linux kernel), NetBSD had no issue with the disk at all, it created a file system over the entire disk and installed witout complaint - perhaps it should have?

>How-To-Repeat:
NFS share a very large filesystem, mount it elsewhere, and attempt to push a lot of data to it.
