I tried again with 3.99.3 and now I was able to reproduce the problem
with the Apacer flash drive.
Another note: sometimes when a process hangs while writing to a flash
drive on my ehci, it continues after some minutes (up to ten, so far).
But sometimes it hangs forever (I already waited for hours some times),
and I can't shut down the system anymore (except with ddb -> reboot 0x4).
