 The upper half is output by the firmware and looks just like I want it.
 The lower half (right after wsdisplay attaches) is wrong. Can we please
 fix this somehow? I'm a computer graphics programmer in another live, and
 white is white, and this is not white, but gray. Calling gray WSCOL_WHITE
 is ... strange.
