This part of the documentation is a little out of date ...

Compat linux mostly works (at least for me) on amd64 with recent
Emmanuel Dreyfus work. About 2 weeks ago, i made some tests and got
good results with multithreaded linux programs (NCBI blast with 8
threads on a 4x dual-core CPUs).
