 Temporary fix/problem avoidance from martin for NFS clients :
 
 Mount your NFS partitions with options -r1024,-w1024 in your fstab i.e.:
 
 	rangerover.kasbah:/home /home nfs rw,-r1024,-w1024 0 0
 
 That ought to fix the packet dropping for NFS.
