Hello,
would like to know if there are any plans at all to close the following bug:
http://www.netbsd.org/cgi-bin/query-pr-single.pl?number=6827
the patch is present in the aforementioned link, but I would like to know if
there are any plans to fix the inability to record audio via mmap in the
main system releases (e.g. NetBsd v 3 still appears to suffer from not being
able to record audio via mmap: input offset for recording buffer does not
wrap around and when the offset varialbe is icremented during the first pass
over the buffer it does so not in "blocksize" steps but rather in "half of
blocksize" steps - the playback, however works absolutely fine).
The bug (PR 6827) was discovered and reported quite a few years ago - 1999
Kind regards,
Leon.
