thanks, but that's not what I'm looking for. dptutil is not available in
the package source, which is the problem. dptutil is not available anywhere
that I can find. It's a userland app, and therefore should have no
dependencies, but I can't find the source code.
all I need is a URL to the source code for dptutil. I'm not using pkgsrc,
I'm using a Sun E450 sparc64 and need to compile under that architecture.
That box does not have internet access at this time, so I have to copy to CD
and install from there. The box that I am using for the net is Mandrake
10.1 not a bsd. I should be able to simply go to an FTP site, find the
source and download that package individually, not bundled with a hundred
other apps.
Learning linux and bsd is rather difficult enough as it is; one would think
that the task of being able to directly download code through FTP without
being constrained to use a helper app like pkgsrc should be pretty straight
forward.
thanks for any help.
