From fresh, bad experience, I can confirm that the problem is still
present in netbsd-3 and -current (a 2006-07-05 build). I tried
netbsd-3 with the patch at the end of
http://www.netbsd.org/cgi-bin/query-pr-single.pl?number=30531, and it
didn't help any.
