I presume you ran installboot on the kernel of an existing
install. Are you getting bios, checksum and dmesg info over
serial?
Also, I cannot find instructions to produce a cdrom from src, the
most convenient way to wedge the installboot command into install
media. Is there some doc on the process?
Wasn't there discussion about adding such a target to build.sh? --
I don't see it in there yet...
