 This was Virtual PC 6 for Mac. Since I upgraded to Virtual PC 7 for Mac,
 this issue is no longer reproducable.
 OpenBSD seems to have a workaround for the Virtual PC 6 bug, since
 it doesn't suffer on this issue.
