>Description:

Using a -current as of Nov 2, 2006, my system can no longer complete a boot
to multi-user mode. Specifically, single-user works as expected, but booting
multi-user causes multiple items to hang on execution. For example, named,
ntpd, and dhcpd all hang when executed by rc.d/*. Hitting ^C lets the boot
continue, however attempting to log in just hangs after the password.

In the pre-login cases, ^T shows the processes in wait, nanosleep, or select
states.

Reverting libc to version 14.147 solves this problem.

Also, during boot, pflogd prints to the console:

Nov 2 19:12:12 pflogd[568]: [priv]: msg PRIV_OPEN_LOG received

Not clear if this is a symptom of the same problem (it seems to work, as
named goes on to get executed next), or something else.
