 Hi Berndt,
           This issue is cropping up again with somebody else (Matthias
 Drochner has a new laptop with the Dell 350 bluetooth module) and he did
 somehow disable EHCI in the bios (downgrades USB to v1) and it appears to
 make the bluetooth dongle work - can you try that by chance?
 
 This would appear to confirm my thought that the problem is somehow in the
 EHCI layer rather than the ubt driver..
