I'm now running 3.1.0_PATCH and haven't seen this for a long
time so I'll close this. The hardware is still the same so 
this should not be related to the hardware (bad RAM etc.).
I only upgraded from 3.0 -> 3.1 -> 3.1.0_PATCH and the firewall
is stable...
