Hi,
what do you mean?
The 3.1 from NetBSD-3.1/source/sets I've got does not support the 573.
It is not included in the pcidevs files!
I don't whant to run the current onto our productive systems, so I've
integerated the changes from the current-Kernel related to the wm-driver
into "my" 3.1 tree. (Only the changes to the funtionality and support to
the "next-generation" chips as it looks like - not the
"device-attribute" cache, that seems to be new in current version.)
I've also checked the changes to the makphy implementationen and adapted
that. (only setting PSCR_CRS_ON_TX at reset and force renegotiation
after media change was there).
Nerverless, I've testet the whole thing with a true current-installation
too, before I send the problem report. I don't want to report my own
errors to the whole world ...
Is there another tree (or branch) that I schould check for changes (now
and in the future)?
Should I get NetBSD-3.1/source/sets again and check for changes? The
archives are dated Oct 31 2006 - so they look not very new to me.
I've just started this fetch again, but it will take some time, because
I cannot eat up our whole link to the world ...
kind regards
Wolfgang Stukenbrock
