>Description:
when I inssert a Sankisk Sansa mp3 player into a USB port I get the
following message on the console
umass0 at uhub5 port 4 configuration 1 interface 0
umass0: SanDisk APIC SanDisk Sansa m230, rev 2.00/2.25, addr 3
umass0: using SCSI over Bulk-Only
scsibus1 at umass0: 2 targets, 1 lun per target
sd0 at scsibus1 target 0 lun 0: <SanDisk, Sansa m230, 1.30> disk
removable
sd0: fabricating a geometry
sd0: 633 GB, 482 cyl, 64 head, 32 sec, 688144 bytes/sect x 987840
sectors
When I try disklabel /dev/sd0 the machine crashes, i.e I loose control
of the terminal and mouse and have to do a hard reboot.
The device is 256meg not 633gig as per the fabricated geometry.
I can use the device on Unbutu and XP.
>How-To-Repeat:
As above
>Fix:
I do not have a work around.
