I'm strongly against this. I posit that current layout is much better
for a typical use case when you only need to operate in a single base.
I find the proposed layout illogically formatted, verbose and hard to
read.
With the current layout ascii table for a given base fits completely
on the screen. With proposed layout you will have to scroll up and
down to get to different characters.
With the current layout you "focus" the table in the base you are
interested in on the screen and you are not distracted by the other
two bases that you don't need. With proposed layout you will have to
constantly focus on the column for the base you need.
