 Hurray!  Yes, that fixes this PR!  -current now boots to multi-user mode
 again on my system!
 
 Now on to the next/previous bug, PR# 38273.  (i.e. yes, that one still
 exists, the system will blow up on newfs or other disk activity to the
 ld device)
