The iso images available for macppc (5.0) are missing the files ofwboot.xcf and 
ofwboot in the root directory, which makes booting from open firmware 
impossible.
The only existing directory on the image is MACPPC in capital letters.
This seems to be a build problem.
The images for 4.0 are ok.

try to boot from macppc cd using open firmware 3

boot cd:,\ofwboot.xcf netbsd.macppc
