0xc0129e2d <ip_input+861>: cmpb $0x2,0x1(%eax)
Which goes back to:
if (ifa->ifa_addr->sa_family != AF_INET)
continue;
(AF_INET == 2) as the only suitable code on netbsd.
In this case, %eax == 0
