I made a patch against current that upgrades the bundled hostapd to the latest 
available
version, 0.6.9. 

Not a lot had to be done, mainly unpacking, patching driver_bsd.h to include 
the a netbsd
header instead of a freebsd one and slightly modifying the NetBSD Makefile.
