This seems to have been fixed some time earlier, but I'm not sure exactly when. Even without that patch, a -current kernel using ACPI configures all busses. I tried a kernel with the patch, and it didn't seem to change things either for the better or for the worse. (I'm still having a problem with ehci slowing everything down to a crawl, but that's a separate subject). In any case, I think this PR can be closed. Thanks!
