 i'm curious what local configuration postinstall breaks.  apb, you had
 the original report can you expand on this?
 
 to me, that sounds like a bug itself that needs to be fixed.
 
 wrt the message, "update configuration" sounds better than "overwrite"
 to me.  (overwrite is a bug, to me.)
