I'm suspect this might be caused by the new driver for the Indy front panel
buttons (the Challenge S has no connection to the front panel buttons):
sys/arch/sgimips/hpc/panel.c 1.1
Add a driver for the Indy's front panel buttons.
- power button presses are reported to sysmon
- volume control buttons are reported to PMF
