 As an additional data point, I find that my IPX with ROM v2.4 boots=20
 with both the NetBSD 3.1.3 and NetBSD 7 /boot, as long as the first=20
 stage boot loader (bootxx) is from NertBSD 3.1.3.=20
 
 The NetBSD 7 bootxx will produce the well-known

  Data Access Exception
