I'm also having this problem, about to build a new kernel with the DMA
disabled in the hope to get it running properly.
I've got a Thecus 5200Pro NAS running NetBSD 7.1
Controller is 88SX6081
I've tried a mixture of different drives, they all give the "unable to stop
EDMA" error on boot.
