 Presumably, as you predicted, just adding the ntfs_vfsops.c prevents
 the panic, and keeps the
 
  ntfs_procfixups: fixup 2 doesn't match
  ntfs_loadntnode: BAD MFT RECORD 0
  ntfs_loadvnode: CAN'T LOAD ATTRIBUTES FOR INO: 0
  mount_ntfs: /dev/wd0e on /mnt: Invalid argument
 
 and in addition, adding the ntfs_subr.c patch
 allows a successful mount, and everything works!
